Yesterday we arrived at camp. It has been a hot two days but we are all staying hydrated! Our kids are spending the week with another church group as well. Last night we went canoeing on the pond in preparation for today's trip on the Rock River. They spent the rest of their day teambuilding and cooling off in the swimming pool.
This week's theme is "Its all about grace". Today they learned how god's grace can not be earned but rather that it is freely given.
The kids have seen a wide number of wildlife including wild turkeys, deer, and a few bugs.
The heat will break tonight. And they are looking forward to a week packed full of activities.
