On June 17th, 11 youth will depart for Confirmation Camp. They will be going to Lutheran Outdoor Ministry Center in Oregon, Illinois. Over this next week they will be canoeing, hiking, learning about God's creations, worshiping, and most importantly encountering God in ways they have not experianced before.
This week's theme verse is:
"For by GRACE you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God." -Ephesians 2:8
Throughout the week, some of the youth will be sharing their experiances with you through this blog. They will share the challenges they face, the joy they have expreianced, and how God has been at work through it all. Pray for our youth this week as they encounter this wounderful gift from God: Grace.
