Thursday in Nicaragua

On Thursday afternoon, about 4:00, 10 freshly washed little boys, ages 6-14, came to the Clinic to participate in a pop-up music program offered by those participating in the mission project. They were given the opportunity to hear and observe both a flute and a ukulele as well as sing some fun, novelty songs. It was enjoyable for both students and teachers and included movement, dance, clapping and of course, plenty of laughs. The activity was a great example of the blending of communities and accomplished what music always accomplishes: it's an international expression, with no boundaries of age, language or race.
